Creator commerce platform LTK announced the launch of LTK DM last week, a free feature enabling creators to convert Instagram comments into direct shopping links. The new tool allows shoppers to comment “Shop” on a creator’s Instagram post, triggering an automated direct message with a link to the creator’s LTK page featuring product recommendations from that post.

The company reports that LTK DM can help creators increase their earnings by up to 60%. This feature integrates directly into the LTK Creator app’s posting flow, eliminating the need for separate automated DM tools or services.

Kit Ulrich, General Manager of LTK’s Creator Shopping Platform, states, “LTK has been a pioneer and an innovator in helping creators offer the most convenient shopping experience through social media platforms.”

LTK DM is part of a suite of free tools provided by LTK to creators, including sales retargeting tools, integrated product reviews, and shopper alerts for price drops and restocked items. The feature aims to streamline the process of sharing product links and facilitate immediate shopping for followers.

According to LTK, the platform drives over $4.1 billion in annual retail sales through its network of creators in over 150 countries. The company reports that 40 million consumers use the LTK shopping platform monthly to find inspiration and shop creator-recommended styles.
