Kolsquare Just Acquired Woomio, Denmark’s Top Creator Marketing Platform That Supports Brands Like Red Bull, Rituals
Kolsquare, Europe’s leading influencer marketing technology company, has acquired Danish-based Woomio to expand into the Nordic market.
Founded in Copenhagen in 2014 by Zeth Edwardsen and Torsten Petersen, Woomio provides end-to-end software solutions for creator marketing programs across 16 countries. The company has built a strong client base in the Nordic region, serving over 300 agencies and brands, including Rituals, Flying Tiger, and Red Bull.
The acquisition follows Kolsquare’s 2024 integration into team.blue, one of Europe’s largest private tech companies. This move supported Kolsquare’s profitable growth trajectory and facilitated its strategic acquisition strategy.
“Woomio’s addition provides us strong exposure to the rapidly growing influencer marketing space in the Nordics, where we have had limited focus since our launch,” Kolsquare founder & CEO Quentin Bordage said in a news release. “We were impressed by the quality of Woomio’s product, client portfolio, and team’s performance in the region.”
Woomio co-founder & CEO Zeth Edwardsen views the acquisition as an opportunity to enhance their market impact: “As founders of Woomio, it’s inspiring to see our work recognized as a complement to Kolsquare’s product and team. Together, we’re combining strengths to deliver more value to our customers.”
Kolsquare, established in Paris in 2018, offers an all-in-one SaaS platform for scaling influencer marketing strategies. The company’s technology provides access to creators with over 5,000 followers across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, and X in 180 countries. As a Certified B Corporation, Kolsquare emphasizes responsible influence through features like the ‘Compliance Score,’ #InfluenceForGood-Filter, and ‘Audience Credibility Score.’
