Modash Acquires Promoty In Global Expansion Push
Influencer marketing platform Modash has acquired Promoty, a creator relationship management (CRM) company, to strengthen its European presence and expand its capabilities in creator partnerships.
This acquisition follows Modash’s successful $12M Series A funding round and aligns with the company’s strategy to cater to Shopify-based e-commerce businesses.
The merger addresses a growing market need, as Modash notes in a news release that 80% of marketers now consider creator partnerships essential for driving e-commerce growth. The combined platform will streamline the process for brands managing creator relationships at scale, simplifying workflows and improving efficiency.
Promoty’s CRM Expertise Enhances Modash’s Platform
Promoty, founded by Aleks Koha and Leonardo Romanello, brings its advanced CRM system to the Modash suite. This Trello-like CRM has proven effective in Nordic, Baltic, and Benelux regions, serving prominent clients such as Lyko, Freeletics, and Alibaba.
Promoty’s technology, which includes mobile and web apps for iOS and Android, also offers enterprise-level solutions like white-label options and API integrations.
Avery Schrader, CEO of Modash, emphasized the strategic alignment of this acquisition: “In 2025, Modash is focused on helping Shopify businesses scale their partnerships with creators. Promoty has perfected CRM-like features, and their strong presence in the Nordics and Baltics solidifies our European footprint.”
Platform Integration to Boost Influencer Partnerships
Integrating Promoty’s CRM tools into Modash’s platform combines the strengths of both companies. Modash’s expertise in influencer discovery, audience demographics, and content performance analysis is now enhanced by Promoty’s relationship management capabilities, enabling brands to manage creator partnerships from discovery to execution effectively.
This merger allows brands to identify influencers within their customer base and replicate successful partnerships, optimizing future campaigns.
Aleks Koha, former CEO and co-founder of Promoty, shares his excitement about the acquisition: “After seven years of supporting some of the best brands in the region, I’m thrilled to see the hard work of the Promoty team go global. Together, we’re positioning Europe as the new leader in influencer partnerships.”
Modash’s Expanded Services and Growth Prospects
Since its launch, Modash has continuously expanded its service offerings to better support e-commerce brands. The platform now includes features for measurement, payments, product gifting, and content management, making it an all-in-one solution for influencer partnerships.
Modash is also continuing to refine its search product and integrate more closely with Shopify. Additionally, the company is leveraging AI advancements to improve the platform’s effectiveness, ensuring it stays ahead in the influencer marketing space.
