Alex Cooper Moves ‘Call Her Daddy’ Video Episodes To YouTube
Alex Cooper has announced the migration of “Call Her Daddy” video episodes from Spotify to YouTube as part of the podcast’s distribution strategy.
The move comes as part of Cooper’s transition to SiriusXM, which recently acquired her podcast and podcast collective in a deal valued at up to $125 million, effective 2025.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the platform transition extends beyond “Call Her Daddy” to include all video content from Cooper’s Unwell Network, encompassing shows such as “Hot Mess with Alix Earle” and “Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy.” While video content moves exclusively to YouTube, audio versions of all podcasts remain available across multiple platforms.
Cooper, recognized as the world’s most popular female podcaster, frames the change as an expansion of accessibility, announcing on Instagram that viewers can now watch “all new episodes of ‘Call Her Daddy’ on YouTube for free.” She teases upcoming developments, noting “new content…new shows…new faces…”

The strategic move follows Spotify’s January 2024 decision to end audio exclusivity for Cooper’s podcast while maintaining temporary video rights. The shift to YouTube aligns with SiriusXM’s advertising strategy, as the platform accommodates higher ad loads than Spotify’s lower-ad video approach.
In September 2024, reports emerged that Spotify was offering seven-figure sums to YouTubers to upload videos on its platform. The company’s strategy involved providing lump sum payments and marketing support to creators who agreed to make their content available on both platforms.
