About Ana Napier Sousa
Ana Napier Sousa is a beauty and lifestyle content creator who has over 9,000 followers on Instagram. She started in 2022 but admitted she has loved creating content for years.
Ana Napier shares, “Content creation is something I wanted to do years ago, but I only started last year. It’s something I want to do, but I don’t know how to start.”
Challenges as a Content Creator with a Unique Style
Ana Napier considers herself someone who has a unique style. And although this makes her stand out in the content creation space, she admits that it also brought a lot of challenges.
“I have colored hair, and I think some brands aren’t open to that. In my experience, some brands will say, ‘we love your style, but we don’t think it fits our brand,’ and this happened many times.”
Staying True to Her Personal Style and Finding the Right Brands
Ana admits that her style is different from most content creators. Aside from her alternative style, she also loves to create dreamy content and post it on her Instagram. And sometimes, this has become the reason why it’s difficult to find brand collaborations.
She shares, “I think brands don’t like that. But I think brands should work with people different than those they’re working with now.”
Ana’s struggle to find brand collaborations isn’t new or unique. In fact, getting contracts (which includes winning brand collabs and getting higher paying contracts) is a common challenge among new influencers.
Best Post in Terms of Engagement
Although Ana is still new in the content creation space, she’s proud to share that her best post was a collaboration with a skincare brand. She remembers this collaboration has the most engagement because she did a giveaway.
Brand Collabs
March is an exciting time for Ana because she’s set to collaborate with a brand that fits her style, Romwe. She’s looking forward to creating different content for the brand, like photos and trying on haul videos.
She also mentions her talent agency, Sintillate Talent, for making it possible for her to work with the brand. She admits that her talent agency helped her find brands to work with, as the process is difficult for her because of her unique style.
Connecting with Audience
Ana credited Sintillate Talent for making it easier for her to work with brands, which paved the way to connect with her audience. Ana has been with her talent agency for two months but already saw how the agency works hard for their talents.
“Before I was in the agency, it was difficult for me to connect to brands. I am very happy working with Sintillate Talent.”
Ana’s Goals in Content Creation
Ana has a lot of plans for the future as a content creator. She shares, “I want to include more people. Because I have a different style, I want to inspire my audience to be authentic and unique. I think that’s my bigger goal.”
As for her short-time goal, Ana is happy to share that it’s about working with a big brand, which she will have in March. According to Ana, “I think that goal is already done.”
Ana already has a large following on Instagram, which is why she wants to start creating content on TikTok and YouTube. She isn’t sure when these will happen, but she already has plans to do it.
