AnyMind Group Expands Into E-Gifting With Acquisition Of Japanese AnyReach

AnyMind Group, a business platform as a service (BPaaS) company, announced the completion of its full acquisition of AnyReach, a Japan-based e-gifting company. AnyReach will continue to operate under its existing name as part of AnyMind Japan Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of AnyMind Group.

Growth Through Acquisitions

This marks AnyMind’s 10th acquisition overall and fifth M&A of a Japan-based company. Since its founding in 2016, the company has expanded its operations to 15 markets globally. The acquisition strategy serves as a key growth driver, strengthening the company’s business foundation across multiple sectors.

AnyReach’s flagship offering, AnyGift, is an e-gifting platform that enables online merchants to integrate gifting functionality into their checkout processes. The platform allows users to send physical products or redeemable gifts without knowing the recipient’s address. AnyGift has already been adopted by over 700 companies in Japan.

Strengthening Position in E-Commerce Market

With Japan’s e-commerce market projected to reach approximately $257 billion by 2027, the integration creates several opportunities:

  • The combination of AnyGift with AnyMind’s existing platforms, AnyX (e-commerce management) and AnyTag (influencer marketing), creates added value for corporate e-commerce strategies.
  • AnyMind’s presence in Southeast Asia will help accelerate the international expansion of e-gifting solutions beyond the Japanese market.
  • Konosuke Nakajima, founder and CEO of AnyReach, joins AnyMind’s leadership team in Japan to drive a unified growth strategy.

Global Expansion Plans

“By joining forces with AnyMind Group, which operates in 15 countries and regions, we can expand globally and continue innovating beyond digital gifting, incorporating offline experiences as well,” Nakajima stated in the press release.

Kosuke Sogo, CEO and co-founder of AnyMind Group, added: “By combining our technology and expertise in marketing and e-commerce with AnyReach’s e-gift platform, we will provide new value to enterprise e-commerce strategies, support brand growth, and deliver unique purchasing experiences to consumers worldwide.”

AnyMind continues to expand its technological capabilities across various business functions, having recently established an AI lab to explore applications of large language models and generative AI within its platforms.
