Atmosfy Rolls Out Instant Experience Mapping Feature

Atmosfy, a social media platform that shares experiences, has launched an instant experience mapping feature.

The new functionality automatically detects places users have visited and creates an interactive map of their experiences.

“We continually hear from our community that Atmosfy is the central place to capture and share their experiences that simply live on their camera roles otherwise,” Michael Ebel, CEO at Atomsfy, wrote on LinkedIn.

Ebel added that the new feature addresses user demand by providing a platform to “memorialize experiences, share with friends, and help the community discover the best places to go.”

The feature lets users view their city coverage and engage in friendly competition with connections.

Instant mapping builds on Atmosfy’s recently launched “social mapping” feature. Ebel described it as “a truly interactive, live social map that provides real-time answers to the dimensions that impact the quality of [users’] experiences.”

In April, Atmosfy launched “Local Favorites,” a feature highlighting top-rated businesses and venues in users’ local areas. It combines community engagement data with users’ friend networks to provide personalized, context-driven recommendations.

Since its release, Atmosfy has expanded to over 150 countries and 10,000 cities. It boasts a community of creators who have highlighted over 1 million businesses. In 2023, the platform secured a $14 million round of funding.
