2,000+ Brands, One Platform: Binghamton’s New Approach To Student-Athlete NIL Success
Binghamton University’s Division of Athletics announced a partnership with MOGL as its exclusive NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) solution provider to streamline NIL opportunities for student-athletes and simplify the university’s compliance processes.
MOGL, a platform connecting over 15,000 student-athletes with over 2,000 businesses, including Toyota, Under Armour, and DoorDash, offers integrated digital agency services and compliance solutions. The partnership provides Binghamton’s student-athletes access to MOGL Monetize, a tool designed to facilitate NIL deals and educational resources.
Eugene Marshall, Jr., Director of Athletics at Binghamton, stated in the announcement, “Their software will enable us to connect Bearcat student-athletes to thousands of NIL deals and enhance connectivity among them and our supportive community of donors, sponsors, business affiliates, and fans.”
The platform allows Binghamton’s network of sponsors, local businesses, and fans to engage with student-athletes through a single interface for endorsements, personal shoutouts, and event appearances. MOGL’s compliance software offers detailed disclosure records, contract visibility, and insights into NIL transactions.
Founded in 2019 by Ayden Syal and former Notre Dame quarterback Brandon Wimbush, MOGL has established partnerships with universities and collectives, including Notre Dame and Holy Cross. The company also serves as the exclusive NIL technology provider for NBC Sports.
Binghamton University, a public R1 research institution in the State University of New York system, maintains a 21-sport NCAA Division I athletics program. Forbes named the university a “Top 10 Public Ivy” in 2024.
