Social Media Entrepreneur Brandon Schlichter Takes Over Illinois Roofing Giant
Brandon Schlichter, creator of the YouTube channel Investment Joy with 1.8 million subscribers, recently acquired H.C. Anderson Roofing Company, a commercial roofing firm serving Illinois and Wisconsin.
The acquisition positions the Rockford-based company, founded in 1998, for potential expansion. Schlichter outlined plans to grow the workforce from its current size to 75 employees by the end of 2025, with a longer-term target of 200 positions within three to five years.
“Our goal is not only to maintain the high standards H.C. Anderson Roofing is known for but also to create new opportunities for well-paying jobs in the Rockford area,” Schlichter said in a news release. “I believe in investing in people and communities, and this acquisition is a fantastic opportunity to do just that.”
H.C. Anderson Roofing serves a diverse client base, including manufacturing facilities, office buildings, schools, and government agencies. The company has built its reputation through referrals and a focus on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
The business has continued operating under its established brand name, maintaining its existing commercial roofing services throughout the region. The ownership transition is not expected to impact current service levels for existing clients.
This acquisition marks an entry into the commercial roofing sector for Schlichter, who has gained prominence through his Investment Joy YouTube channel, where he shares insights about his business ventures.
