“Doing Things” Taps Content Creator Jake Krantz As Creative Director
Doing Things has appointed content creator Jake Krantz as Creative Director of its newly formed talent and video team. The social media company operates more than 40 creator brands with a combined audience exceeding 100 million followers.
Krantz brings 4.5 million followers across platforms and generates over 100 million monthly impressions. He will develop original and branded content across Doing Things’ portfolio, which includes Overheard, Middle Class Fancy, Recess Therapy, and Bob Does Sports.
Building on Previous Partnership
Krantz first collaborated with Doing Things in 2023 as a creator partner, contributing to branded campaigns for companies including WK Kellogg’s, Kellanova, and The Coca Cola Co. His full-time role involves shaping the company’s video strategy as Doing Things expands its focus on original series in 2025.
Known for short-form comedy, Krantz gained prominence with his “You Too” trend, which generated nearly one billion impressions and featured collaborations with MrBeast and a recreation by Jimmy Fallon and Demi Lovato.
“Jake is a trend setter who dominates video meme culture and has an unparalleled talent for blending humor and storytelling in ways that resonate deeply with audiences,” Reid Hailey, CEO of Doing Things, said in a press release.
Doing Things nearly quadrupled its revenue compared to 2021. Krantz joins as the company expands its content slate while maintaining its creator-first approach across content, community, and commerce.
