These Online Video Vets Just Launched A Company That’s Half Talent Agency, Half Content Studio, Already Landed Major Creators
A group of veteran online video executives recently launched a new hybrid company that combines talent management services with an original content studio.
According to Tubefilter, the firm Fixated represents a blend of a traditional talent agency, and a production company focused on the creator economy.
Fixated’s co-founders possess extensive experience operating within the digital creator space. Zach Katz, the company’s CEO, previously served as President and COO of the popular esports and entertainment organization FaZe Clan. Fixated’s President, Jason Wilhelm, co-founded the talent management firm TalentX, which worked with influencer collectives like Sway House. Another TalentX alum, Dean Johnson, joins as Fixated’s Chief Studio Officer, while creator Luc Boulch takes the Chief Content Officer role.
Despite its relatively short time in operation, Fixated has already amassed an impressive roster of creators. This includes popular streamer Sketch, renowned chess personalities the Botez Sisters, and the widely-loved prank/comedy group Love Live Serve, among others. The company’s leadership is further strengthened by executives like Ali Adab, Chief Growth Officer with prior experience at BroadbandTV and SoleSavy, and COO Phil Ranta from other creator-focused firms.
Fixated offers talent management alongside the development of original shows and movies featuring its creators. The company also produces interactive experiences within popular video games like Roblox and Fortnite. Katz told Tubefilter that their goal is “to elevate what can be expected from the digital entertainment ecosystem and help creators build commercial value.”
Since its quiet launch last year, Fixated has already made significant strides. The company boasts over 20 successful program launches across various channels and platforms. Its in-game activations have garnered an impressive 250 million plays or views.
