Foot Locker’s New Platform Allows Influencers To Build Digital Storefronts

Foot Locker Inc. has launched a new creator platform powered by impact.com that enables qualified influencers to create customized digital storefronts for U.S. audiences.

The Foot Locker Storefronts platform allows content creators to monetize their social media presence by earning commissions on qualified sales generated through their individual storefronts, subject to the program’s payout terms.

Holly Tedesco, VP of Marketing for North America at Foot Locker, Inc., says the platform expands their ambassador program while creating value for creators, brand partners, and consumers.

“It redefines how consumers shop and discover our trend-driven, premium product assortment by forging powerful partnerships with creators who shape sneaker culture and fashion trends,” Tedesco says in a press release.

The platform integrates with creators’ social media accounts, allowing them to tag Foot Locker products mentioned in their posts. U.S. followers can purchase these items directly through Foot Locker’s website via creator-generated links.

One early adopter of the platform is Andrew Dutton, a middle school teacher with approximately 300,000 followers, who uses his storefront to showcase his seasonal sneaker selections.

David A. Yovanno, CEO of impact.com, points to shifting consumer behavior as a key driver for the platform’s development. “Creators now influence trends and consumer buying decisions more than ever, as trust in traditional advertising continues its decline,” he states.

The technology enables Foot Locker to identify suitable creators, manage their engagement, and implement reward systems at scale. impact.com’s platform serves as the foundation for brands’ modern creator strategies, allowing companies to build direct relationships with influencers while scaling revenue growth through customized shopping experiences.

VistaPrint, a provider of custom designs and professional marketing materials, has also partnered with impact.com to power its new creator platform and expand reach and awareness within the small business community.

Big Lots is another company that has employed impact.com’s services. It recently launched an affiliate program to expand its creator and publisher relationships and allow selected partners to share time-limited closeout deals and promotions with their audiences, earning commissions on sales through the company’s website.
