Glewee Launches Platform Update To Streamline Influencer Marketing

Influencer marketing platform Glewee has launched Glewee 2.0, a major update that aims to streamline collaboration between brands and content creators.

The platform now offers enhanced features, including gifting campaigns and Shopify integration.

Christian Brown, co-founder and CMO of Glewee, explains the update’s rationale: “Over the past two years since we’ve gone to market, we’ve learned much about the influencer marketing space for influencers, creators, and small businesses. The most important learnings have come from the users themselves.”

The platform, which has attracted over 5,000 brands since its inception, now boasts a network of 12,500 pre-vetted influencers and creators. Christian notes that this growth has provided valuable insights into market demands.

One key addition to Glewee 2.0 is the introduction of gifting campaigns

“We’ve created a whole new part of our platform that will allow for gifting campaigns,” Christian states. “This allows brands to still use our technology to do what they do best: find the right influencers to work with, but without burdening them with specific costs.”

Glewee differentiates itself through its opt-in model and quick response capabilities. Christian highlights, “We have influencers who apply to work with brands in under 30 seconds. They get the notification, create an individualized pitch, and send it back to brands.”

The platform’s speed is a key selling point. “When we’re on with a client, and they launch a campaign, we tell them to refresh again. Nine out of ten times within that first minute, they have multiple creators that have applied to work with them,” Christian adds.

Shopify Integration and ROI Tracking Tools

Glewee’s latest platform update introduces a Shopify integration to streamline collaboration between brands and influencers while providing advanced data analysis tools.

Christian explains the impact of the integration: “We have a one-press button that allows [brands] to pick what products from Shopify they want to be promoted on social media. Those products, descriptions, and images are pulled directly into the campaign.”

The new feature automates creating and distributing discount codes, a traditionally manual and time-consuming task for brands. “Through our system, in just two clicks, the brand can send that specific discount code to the influencer,” Christian states.

Glewee offers these advanced features without the long-term commitments often required by competitors. Christian notes, “We’re giving every user of Glewee the entire platform for 30 [days] on a trial. And when they find success, they can join one of our paid tiers starting at just $99 per month.”

The platform update also introduces a comprehensive dashboard that provides brands with actionable insights. “We have a new feature, based on our AI algorithms, that shows brands, based on their campaign outline and objective, [which] influencers are the most active and have the highest probability of success for the brand,” Christian explains.

This data-heavy approach extends to performance tracking. Christian elaborates, “Every time there’s a new sale with a discount code, that data is automatically populated into their Glewe platform. This gives brands key insight into their influencer marketing spend, return, and ROI.

The dashboard consolidates various metrics, from brand awareness growth to return on investment, providing a centralized location for campaign management.

“Every time a new influencer applies to work with your brand, every time there’s a new piece of content to approve, every single time there’s a new contract that’s been signed, that appears in your comprehensive dashboard. It’s our goal to make Glewee the one-stop-shop for all small businesses looking to grow their brand and drive sales with influencer marketing,” Christian adds.

Streamlined Campaign Creation and Content Management

Since influencer marketing may be overwhelming for newcomers, Glewee 2.0 significantly improves the campaign creation process and simplifies influencer marketing for small businesses.

“What we’ve continued to do is make it easier and easier and easier,” Christian states.

The updated platform offers three distinct campaign types: social media posts, user-generated content (UGC), and gifting campaigns. Each option features a tailored creation process designed for simplicity.

The platform also introduces a content library feature, maximizing the value of influencer collaborations. Christian highlights a key benefit: “When brands work with influencers on Glewee, the brand owns 100% of the licensing rights of that content.”

This content library centralizes all influencer-created content, organizing it by campaign, influencer, or content type.

“All you have to do is click into your content library, tap on the piece of influencer-generated content, and that content is downloaded to your computer and desktop. You are ready to upload to your ad library in your paid channels and easily share it across your owned channels like Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Twitch, etc.,” Christian adds.

Quality Control and User Feedback

Glewee focuses on quality control in its influencer vetting process, ensuring brands can trust the partnerships facilitated through the platform.

“Every single time an influencer applies to Glewee, they are looked at by a human, a member of our team whose job is to vet influencers,” Christian explains.

The vetting criteria include follower count, engagement rate, past brand deal experience, and adherence to community guidelines.

The platform’s marketplace feature allows brands to filter influencers based on specific criteria. Christian highlights, “If you want a female, aged 18 to 22 in California, with a minimum of 500,000 followers on TikTok, whose audience is primarily Hispanic, you can filter down and see influencers that match your exact requirements on Glewee in just a few clicks.”

Initial feedback on Glewee 2.0 has been positive.

Christian reports, “Brands have noted that we’ve shrunken the process and minimized the number of clicks it takes from hiring a creator to getting the work done. There are only two clicks between viewing that influencer and having a contract sent to that influencer’s phone.”

Future Innovations and Key Features

Glewee is actively exploring emerging technologies to enhance its platform, focusing on artificial intelligence.

Christian reveals, “We’ve been experimenting with implementing different forms of personalized AI into the platform that will allow a brand to have its own individual AI writing engaging influencer campaigns for them, curating content post descriptions that are algorithm-friendly, and writing different influencer captions based on the brand guidelines.”

The AI integration aims to assist brands and influencers with content planning, caption writing, and personalized pitching.

Christian is particularly excited about the Shopify integration, especially as the holiday season approaches.

“Being able to track this ROI will be so important for us and our users. This is how we show the true value of influencer marketing to the millions of small businesses out there,” he states, highlighting the significance of demonstrating concrete sales results from influencer marketing campaigns.

The platform aims to prove that “influencer marketing grows your brand awareness, grows your content, but also grows your sales,” Christian points out.

To encourage adoption, Glewee is offering a 30-day trial of the full platform. “Instead of limiting the platform like other people in the market may do, we’re now giving the entire platform and all of its power to every small business that wants to join,” Christian explains.
