The Global Influencer Marketing Awards (GIMAs) 2025 officially opens for entries, announcing its panel of industry experts who will evaluate this year’s submissions. The awards recognize excellence in influencer marketing campaigns, partnerships, and teams across the global creator economy.
Industry Veterans Return to Judge
According to Hello Partner, the awards’ host, Stevie Johnson, Managing Director of Disrupt, returns for his third year on the panel. “Every year, the entries push the boundaries of creativity, strategy, and impact, showing just how far the creator economy has evolved,” Johnson states. “It’s inspiring to see brands, agencies, and creators raising the bar, proving that influencer marketing isn’t just a channel – it’s a driving force in modern marketing.”
The judging panel includes Jeanette Okwu, CEO of BEYONDinfluence, who notes that evaluating innovative campaigns “reminded me why I’m passionate about this field.”
Judges offer strategic guidance for potential entrants. Carina Toledo, Founder of ARETEH, recommends: “Invest time in award writing and storytelling of the campaign, showing the challenge and problem solved. Maximize every limit to prove why your campaign is the best.”
Toledo emphasizes the importance of demonstrating impact beyond social media metrics, while Karim Nasri, Founder of Digital Streamers, looks for “authenticity, strategic execution, and measurable impact” in submissions.
New Categories for 2025
This year’s awards introduce nine new categories, including “Best Use of AI in Influencer Marketing,” “Creator Collaboration of the Year,” and “Best Multi-Platform Campaign.”
The GIMAs welcome submissions from brands, agencies, creators, and technology providers worldwide. Winners will receive gold, silver, and bronze recognitions at the awards ceremony in London on July 17, 2025.
Now in their seventh year, the awards continue to celebrate collaborations that connect brands with audiences while providing industry benchmarks for exceptional work in influencer marketing.
