Hailey Welch, known for the viral “Hawk Tuah” social media moment, has signed with Jake Paul’s Betr media company to launch a weekly podcast titled “Talk Tuah.”
The show is set to debut on September 10 across various platforms as part of Betr’s content network.
“Y’all really thought I was done? I’m just getting started, baby,” Welch stated in a promotional video for the podcast on X, referencing her rise to fame through the “Hawk Tuah” meme.
“A little while ago, my life took a complete left turn, and it changed forever. Along the way, I realized that everybody’s entitled to their own opinion. Well, now, it’s my time to talk,” she added.

Welch, 21, who has amassed over two million Instagram followers since her viral interview, will bring her comedic style to the podcast, featuring interviews with special guests. She recently partnered with subscription content monetization platform Fanfix to capitalize on her fame.
“Hailey has a very relatable element to her,” Fanfix CMO Loren Piretra told us in an interview. “She wasn’t on social media before her big viral moment, so her fans wanted to see a more personal side of her beyond the infamous moment.”
Piretra revealed that Welch doesn’t want to be a “big Hollywood figure” but rather stay true to herself and explore “philanthropic endeavors and purpose-driven work.”
Betr on Welch’s Podcast
Whitney Cummings is slated to appear in the debut episode, and social media personalities Josh Richards and Jake Paul are scheduled to appear in future episodes.
Betr, a sports media and mobile gambling company founded by Paul and Joey Levy in 2022, currently offers programs such as “BS with Jake Paul” and “Twin Talk with Hanna and Haley Cavinder.”
The company raised $15 million in a March financing round, reaching a valuation of $375 million. Earlier this year, Betr launched a real-money fantasy sports product in 24 states.
“Haliey Welch is a bona fide superstar, and her charisma, unique perspective, and innate connection with her audience make her the perfect fit for our platform,” Betr Head of Media Mike Denevi said in a news release.
He added that the “Talk Tuah” podcast will bring a fresh and dynamic voice to Betr’s content lineup, expressing enthusiasm about enabling audiences and brand sponsors to connect with Haliey in a way that embodies the company’s ethos.
“I’m delighted to join the team at Betr, which fully gets me,” Welch stated. She outlined that the show will cover various topics, including guests, humor, pet discussions, relationship advice, sports, and “Southern charm.”
