All About The Hazel And Olive Influencer Program
Hazel and Olive is a popular clothing boutique out of Texas that sells women’s clothing that should be a staple in everyone’s closet.
If you’re a fashion content creator who would love the opportunity to collab with Hazel and Olive, then you’re in the right place.
What is Hazel and Olive?
Many people may believe this to be a movement of the past but there are some that still ensure that the American Dream is still alive and obtainable. One of those people is none other than Taylor McMillan Johnson, The CEO, and Owner of Hazel and Olive.
The woman who attended and graduated from Wade College in Dallas Texas as a Valedictorian and majored in Fashion Design and Merchandising set her path immediately after into the Fashion Industry
Pushing forward Taylor started couponing and spent a lot of time clipping away while saving up enough money to finally be able to afford her first order of inventory. She then began selling the inventory online to friends and family via Facebook.
Shortly after that her business boomed and she began working 18-hour days, writing every address for each order by hand and fulfilling shipments by herself. The business eventually went so well that she had to launch a website and within 6 months of the launch was already hitting 1 million in sales.
The company name, Hazel and Olive was a name Taylor had to pick out specifically, to pay homage to her Great-grandmother who had inspired her and pushed her to fall in love with fashion in the first place.
Her store offers people boutique and trendy apparel styles at an affordable price range. The facility she worked out of was quickly upgraded from her original 500ft apartment to a 6,000 sqft warehouse. Though the store was indeed an eCommerce store at the start, they did open a physical brick-and-mortar shop in Rockwall, texas back in 2014. Hazel and Olive strive to provide the best possible customer service alongside great quality whether shoppers decide to shop online or in-store.
The mentality and persistence to be the best and provide the best service are one of the reasons behind the company’s success. Back in 2012 buyers didn’t really like to shop in online boutiques and Taylor really was persistent at making it work.
Hazel and Olive also owe a lot of their success to long-term customers and the ability to change and adapt based on feedback. This is one of the reasons the company has such a high retention rate.
One of the ways the company gives back to the community is through its H&O Foundation where they donate and distribute funds locally and internationally. On the local level, the Rockwall store offers free jackets in winter and free dresses for prom in spring.
They have also been known to donate to the red cross providing disaster relief and building various medical centers in places like Mozambique. These are only a few of the many good deeds done by the company.
Who are the Hazel and Olive influencers, and what do they do?
The founder of Hazel and Olive is the biggest influencer for the brand. Although she’s not got millions of followers on social media, she sure has made a name for herself both in the local community and online.
Nevertheless, even though Hazel and Olive has an A-list influencer following that loves the brand and is always spotted wearing the latest pieces, the prices for each garment have remained accessible. This is primarily due to the fact that Taylor knows her audience and the brand’s target market isn’t necessarily the rich and famous, it’s the women, moms, and girlfriends, who are paving their own way in fashion and in life.
How to partner with Hazel and Olive
I’m sure by this point you’re asking yourself do Hazel and Olive have an affiliate program. Unfortunately – no. The brand as of yet doesn’t have an affiliate program.
That doesn’t mean that there isn’t a possibility that the company will offer one in the future or work with certain individuals that meet their criteria.
Hopefully, the brand considers changing things up and adding affiliate marketing to its advertising efforts in the near future. I wouldn’t lose hope just yet!
When this happens you can email the brand directly and ask if they have an active influencer campaign or if they’re interested in collaborating in some capacity.
You’ll be able to find Hazel and Olive’s contact information on their website. And, in Hazel and Olive’s case, the only email they have available is related to sales and orders: sales@hazelandolive.com
If you plan on pitching the brand, we always recommend reaching out via email first, and if you fail to hear back within a reasonable timeframe then try social media instead. Sometimes getting an answer can take a few tries.
