Instagram Rolls Out “Best Practices” Feature Focusing On 5 Key Areas For Creator Growth
Instagram has launched “Best Practices,” a new educational feature within its professional dashboard designed to help creators optimize their content and expand their reach.
The tool guides five key areas: creation, engagement, reach, monetization, and guidelines.
The Creation category offers insights on posting frequency, content optimization, and ideal reel length. It also explains features such as trending audio and hashtags.
Engagement focuses on audience interaction and metric interpretation, while the Reach section breaks down Instagram’s algorithms and the connection between reels and follower growth.
The Monetization category outlines various revenue streams available on the platform for creators looking to generate income.
The Guidelines section helps users navigate Instagram’s Community Guidelines and policies.
Each category includes personalized tips to help creators gauge their accounts’ performance. The feature also incorporates educational reels from successful Instagram creators.
Instagram plans to continually update Best Practices to provide the latest guidance. The company states this initiative is part of its commitment to supporting creators in connecting with audiences, producing content, and achieving their goals on the platform.
This launch follows the recent announcement by Instagram head Adam Mosseri, who revealed that the platform was developing a feature allowing users to add collaborators to posts after publication.
In April, Instagram unveiled tools to help creators promote and monetize their subscription offerings as the photo-sharing app reached over 2 million creator subscriptions.
