Instagram Unveils Promotional Tools To Help Creators Tap Into Their 2 Million Subscriptions
Instagram has unveiled new tools to help creators promote and monetize their subscription offerings on the platform. The photo-sharing app now facilitates over 2 million creator subscriptions, providing earning opportunities for content creators.
“We are excited to announce that there are now over 2M active subscriptions to creators on Instagram,” a @Creators post reads.
Instagram’s latest updates include a powerful insights feature that provides creators with valuable data on engagement levels for their sticker content. This tool displays detailed notes, revealing the exact number of users tapping on specific stickers, giving creators a clear understanding of their audience’s preferences.
Instagram is also expanding its subscription stories teaser display. This feature shows non-subscribers when a creator has posted subscriber-only content, giving them the option to sign up to view it.
To help protect creators’ exclusive content, Instagram is adding new capabilities to prevent screenshots and screen recordings of that material. The platform is also sharing guidelines, best practice tips, and other resources within its professional dashboard.
According to Social Media Today, while the 2 million creator subscriptions mark significant growth, they represent just 0.14% of IG’s 1.4 billion users currently paying for such offerings. Research indicates that only 4.3% of creators make over $100k per year from their online efforts.
Nevertheless, Instagram aims to provide more opportunities for its creators to monetize their content and build their subscriber base.
