IZEA’s Hoozu Makes Big Move: Aussie Influencer Agency Snaps Up 26 Talent
On Monday, IZEA Worldwide’s subsidiary Hoozu acquired 26 Talent, a prominent Australian talent management agency, as part of IZEA’s global expansion strategy. The deal brings 26 Talent under Hoozu’s talent representation division, Huume. Mikhailla Fitzgerald, 26 Talent’s founder, will take the helm at Huume and report to Hoozu CEO Natalie Giddings.
Giddings emphasizes the strategic fit: “Their impressive roster of talent and innovative approach to influencer marketing perfectly align with our mission to lead the industry in APAC.” Fitzgerald adds that joining Hoozu “opens up remarkable opportunities for our talent and clients.”
This consolidation comes amid the growing demand for comprehensive influencer marketing solutions in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The merger is expected to enhance Hoozu’s service offerings, providing clients access to a broader talent pool and more diverse marketing strategies.
While financial details remain undisclosed, the deal’s significance lies in its potential to diversify Hoozu’s service offerings and talent pool. The integration is expected to provide clients with access to a wider range of influencers and more comprehensive marketing solutions.
McInnes Wilson acted as legal counsel to Hoozu, while Hitch Advisory served as legal counsel and made the consulting group as financial advisor to 26 Talent.
