How Kopari And Ella Halikas Are Bringing Brands Closer To Fans With Exclusive Events
Beauty brand Kopari is introducing a new approach to influencer marketing by inviting followers to exclusive events typically reserved for social media celebrities.
This strategy, implemented in partnership with content creator Ella Halikas, aims to foster deeper connections with audiences and redefine brand-consumer relationships.
Kopari recently hosted three events to celebrate new product launches, including an L.A. pool party attended by over 40 of Halikas’s followers. These events gave attendees the full influencer experience, with gifting, activations, cocktails, food, and goodie bags.
Halikas, a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and body positivity advocate, explains the event’s motivation: “I wanted to bring together my followers in real life so they could connect and get the opportunity to fully experience what an influencer event looks like.”
This approach represents a shift from traditional influencer events, criticized for their lack of diversity and for showcasing lavish lifestyles.
“Events like these are a natural extension of our shared mission while offering a unique opportunity to connect with our audience on a deeper level,” Toral Patel, VP of Marketing & e-Commerce at Kopari, said in a statement.
The events serve multiple purposes for both the brand and the influencer.
For Kopari, they provide a platform to showcase new products and build stronger relationships with potential customers.
For Halikas, the events offer an opportunity to strengthen her community and increase follower engagement.
Patel elaborates on the benefits of this approach: “Co-hosting these events with Ella allowed us to bring together strong, beautiful women in an intimate setting, fostering an experience that celebrates friendship, self-confidence, and empowerment.”
