Later’s Dream Team: Industry Veteran Assumes Top Role, Seasoned Exec Climbs The Ranks

Influencer marketing and social media management solutions provider Later announced two key executive appointments, bolstering its leadership team.

The company tapped Bill Kantar as Chief Revenue Officer and promoted Phoebe Maclachlan to Chief Customer Officer.

Kantar joins Later with a decade of executive experience in influencer marketing. His most recent role was at Captiv8, where he led new markets and strategic partnerships. Before that, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Open Influence. Kantar’s background also includes sales leadership positions at ViacomCBS and Yahoo!

In his new role as CRO, Kantar is tasked with expanding Later’s enterprise market presence and scaling the sales organization.

Maclachlan’s promotion to CCO comes after nearly ten years with Later. During her tenure, she has played a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience for brand and agency marketers. Her efforts have focused on helping clients connect social and influencer campaigns to business outcomes.

In her new position, Maclachlan will oversee Later’s customer-centric approach, including services, support, solutions, and account management.

These appointments follow recent leadership expansions at Later, which included the addition of Jose Segrera as Chief Financial Officer, Jamie Tischart as Chief Information and Technology Officer, and Justin Withers as Chief Growth Officer.

All executives, including Kantar and Maclachlan, will report directly to CEO Scott Sutton.

“Later is poised to redefine how brands measure and monetize their social presence,” Sutton said in a news release

“Bill and Phoebe bring unparalleled expertise that will be crucial in helping our clients unlock the full potential of social media and influencer marketing, united in one revolutionary platform,” Sutton added.

Later’s platform aims to help marketers create high-performing social content and collaborate with creators to reach new audiences, drive engagement, and generate predictable ROI across major social platforms.
