LTK Rolls Out Advanced DM Customization And Weekly Payouts To Maximize Creator Revenue

Creator commerce platform LTK introduced new features to enhance its LTK DM tool and accelerate commission payouts for creators.

The company reports these updates aim to increase engagement and monetization opportunities for its network of content creators.

The LTK DM tool, which automates direct messaging between creators and their followers on Instagram, now allows creators to customize up to 10 trigger words per post. Each trigger word can be up to 20 characters long.

The expansion moves beyond the standard “Shop” prompt, enabling creators to tailor their messaging and create interactive elements like polls within their posts.

“LTK DM has already proven to be a game-changer for LTK Creators – increasing shopper clicks to retailers from tagged products by 122%,” the company said in a news release.

The new features allow creators to gauge product popularity by assigning specific trigger words to different items in a post.

In addition to the LTK DM upgrades, the platform is shifting to a weekly payout schedule for creator commissions.

According to the company, this change affects hundreds of thousands of LTK Creators who drive nearly $5 billion in annual sales through the platform.

Refining the Shopping Experience

The latest updates build on LTK’s new video features. The company introduced two key features in July: Full-Screen Continuous Video and Daily Drops.

LTK reported that video content on its platform drives significant engagement and sales, noting that the video updates could increase creator earnings by up to 46%.

In June, the company unveiled a feature to improve the shopping experience on its platform in time for the summer sales season: “Price Drop” and “Back in Stock” badges.

In April, LTK launched a suite of new updates to improve the creator-led shopping experience for the hundreds of thousands of LTK Creators and their communities of a combined 40 million monthly shoppers.

“We continue to invest in improving our tech and designing experiences that are seamless and intuitive and get creators credit so they can be as economically successful as possible,” Kit Ulrich, General Manager of LTK’s Creator Shopping Platform, said at the time.
