LTK’s New Video Features Boost Creator Earnings By Nearly 50%

Creator commerce platform LTK announced the launch of new video-first features on its shopping app. The company is introducing two key features: Full-Screen Continuous Video and Daily Drops.

Full-Screen Continuous Video, now available globally, offers an immersive shoppable video feed on a creator’s LTK profile. This feature allows viewers to watch multiple videos back-to-back to deepen engagement between creators and their audiences.

Daily Drops, set to roll out in the coming weeks, will appear as a new section on the app’s home screen. This feature showcases the latest shoppable video content from the creators who have posted it within the last 24 hours.

LTK reports that video content on its platform drives significant engagement and sales, noting that these updates can increase creator earnings by up to 46%. 

According to the announcement, shoppers purchase twice as much from video posts than from other formats. Additionally, video content generates 64% more click-outs to retailer sites and apps for shopping.

The platform cites a recent report indicating that 65% of Gen Z are video content creators.

“Video is critical for creators, and by transforming the LTK app into a video-first platform, LTK is helping our creators earn more by directly catering to shoppers’ preferences,” said Kit Ulrich, General Manager of LTK’s Creator Shopping Platform.

These new features follow LTK’s recent launch of Storytelling Posts with Video, which allows creators to upload up to 10 one-minute videos in a single post.

LTK’s data suggests that its platform facilitates over $4.1 billion in annual retail sales through its network of creators across 150+ countries. The company reports 40 million monthly consumers using the LTK shopping platform and partnerships with over 8,000 retailers.

EMARKETER predicts that social commerce spending will surpass $100 billion in the U.S. by 2025.
