MrBeast, Fede Vigevani To Host International Creator Basketball Showdown On April 25

MrBeast is partnering with Mexico City-based Fede Vigevani to organize a basketball game pitting Spanish-speaking influencers against English-speaking creators on April 25.

The pair announced the event through an Instagram Reel in which Vigevani claims Spanish-speaking creators are “way better” at basketball than their U.S. counterparts—a statement MrBeast openly questions.

MrBeast is actively recruiting top talent for his team, specifically mentioning Kai Cenat and iShowSpeed as desired participants. Both Cenat and iShowSpeed recently collaborated with the NFL on a pre-Super Bowl flag football event in February 2025, which streamed on the NFL’s YouTube channel.

Creator Sports Events Gain Momentum

The basketball showdown follows a growing trend of creator-driven sports competitions. The Sidemen Charity Match at London’s Wembley Stadium in March 2025 raised £4.7 million (~$6.1 million) for multiple charities, according to the BBC, drawing 90,000 in-person spectators and over 17 million online viewers.

Creator sports events are equally popular in Spanish-speaking markets, with Spanish creator Ibai producing several high-profile athletic competitions, including the record-setting Velada del Año and the soccer-focused Kings League.

MrBeast-Vigevani Collaboration Continues

This event marks the latest collaboration between the two creators. Vigevani previously participated in MrBeast’s 300 million subscriber celebration and hosted MrBeast on his own channel for a challenge video. Vigevani has over 65 million subscribers on his primary YouTube channel, placing it among the 50 most-subscribed channels globally.

According to TubeFilter, the April 25 “Beast Arena” event bridges two influential creator ecosystems and capitalizes on growing interest in basketball content creation. Channels focused on basketball content like Jesser see increasing viewership, with creators collaborating with NBA professionals and participating in tournaments.
