YouTuber Nikocado Avocado Loses 250lbs In Secret In A 2-Year Prank That Shocked Millions Of Fans

Nicholas Perry, known on YouTube as Nikocado Avocado, reveals he has lost 250 pounds over two years while maintaining the appearance of weight gain to his 3.9 million followers. 

The content creator, famous for his mukbang videos featuring excessive eating, disclosed his transformation in a video titled “Two Steps Ahead” on September 7.

Perry’s video, which has garnered over 3 million views as of this writing, begins with him wearing a panda head and declaring, “This has been the greatest social experiment of my entire life.” He claims to have woken up from a “very long dream” in which he lost significant weight.

Perry explains in a separate video on another channel that he last produced new content two years ago. Instead, he has been sharing pre-recorded videos to maintain his online presence while privately focusing on his health.

Taking the Internet By Surprise

The YouTuber’s revelation has sparked viral reactions across social media platforms. 

Fans and followers express surprise and support, with @Winzical writing, “The internet was not ready for this.”

“The fact he was able to keep this entirely private, with no one in the world telling his secret, while actively creating rumors of heart attacks and failed weight loss is so complex… I can’t even wrap my head around it,” wrote @katiemosq.

“This guy is actually a genius,” wrote @PepsiDogreal. “He spent a chunk of his life to prove that people are ruthless and unforgiving, and he succeeded. I just feel horrible now.”

Perry’s content strategy involved appearing to quit his weight loss journey in a video posted three months ago, further reinforcing the illusion of continued weight gain. 

The content creator hints at sharing more details about his weight loss journey in upcoming videos. He states that he will now primarily post on his second channel.
