The Buzz Behind OTH Network’s Black Card 3,000+ Influencers Use

Fintech platform On The House (OTH) Network is gaining traction in influencer marketing with its AI-powered app and exclusive black card. 

According to Business Insider, the platform launched its app and card in 2023, boasts over 3,000 influencers, and has received over 90,000 global applications.

OTH uses AI to monitor content created for brands and match creators with marketing deals. Through the OTH Network app, influencers access offers from local businesses. After creating sponsored content, they can use a black and gold card to spend the earned credit in person at partnering businesses.

The platform is currently available to creators in select U.S. cities, including Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas, and New York, and there are plans to expand. OTH focuses on the hospitality, wellness, beauty, and fashion sectors.

To be considered for the platform, influencers must have at least 10,000 Instagram followers, though OTH rarely accepts creators with fewer than 100,000 followers. The company plans to expand into micro-influencer categories in the future.

Participating influencers typically create two pieces of content, such as Instagram Stories, Reels, or TikTok videos, featuring themselves and the partner business.

OTH Network generates revenue by charging merchant partners, though details about its business model and fee structure have not been disclosed. The company uses AI and third-party systems to verify applicants’ authenticity, check for bots and fake followers, and ensure overall engagement.

While the current card functions more like a loyalty card for redeeming credits at partner businesses, OTH plans to evolve it into a real Visa or Mastercard for influencers to use to bank.

The company, founded in 2020, secured venture capital funding from Innovate Ventures in September 2023.
