How OpraahFx Is Nurturing India’s Next Generation Of Digital Influencers
Indian influencer marketing and talent management company OpraahFx launched a Creator Accelerator Program (CAP) to boost the country’s growing creator economy.
The initiative targets micro-influencers in various categories, including fashion, beauty, gaming, tech, fitness, travel, and food.
OpraahFx founder Pranav Panpalia describes the program as a means to “fast-track their growth by offering targeted support and resources.”
Over 100 micro-creators have joined CAP, which provides mentorship, creative support, and training in content optimization and growth strategies.
Capitalizing on India’s Influencer Marketing Growth
The CAP launch aligns with recent trends in India’s influencer marketing.
Kofluence’s report reveals that over 80% of Indian brands are expected to spend up to 30% of their marketing budgets on influencer collaborations by 2028. Total industry spending is projected to reach $2.8-3.5 billion.
Even political parties tapped into social media to collect votes, particularly from the younger demographic, Gen Z.
According to an EY report, 47% of Indian brands prefer to work with micro and nano-influencers due to lower cost per reach. The same report projects the influencer economy to grow to INR 3,375 crore (~$450M) by 2026, with an 18% annual growth rate.
However, the EY report also reveals challenges marketers face in determining ROI for influencer campaigns, building loyal audiences, and maintaining credibility.
OpraahFx’s program aims to address these issues by leveraging the support of top creators and their brand associations.
