Podcastle Unveils New AI Tool For One-Click Multi-Camera Editing

Podcastle has introduced AI Smart Layout and Dynamic Speaker, a new technology that automates multi-camera editing for content creators.

The feature handles editing and splitting of raw footage from multiple cameras with a single click, CEO Artavazd Yeritsyan writes on LinkedIn.

The tool supports up to 10 cameras and 10 microphones with standard setups and manages various camera arrangements, from individual shots to group compositions and wide angles. It integrates with Podcastle’s existing multitrack recording product.

According to Yeritsyan, early users report getting “essentially a finished edit with just one click,” transforming what typically requires hours of editing work into an instant process.

Proprietary AI Voice Model

Earlier this month, Podcastle launched a hub of AI voices powered by its proprietary voice generation model, Asyncflow v1.0.

The platform now offers 500 lifelike AI voices and allows users to clone unlimited custom voices to create audio content at scale.

“Our new model offers tremendous value for both individual creators and organizations alike, opening up the opportunity to create premium AI voice content quickly and at scale without requiring huge investment,” Yeritsyan stated in a blog post.

The company positions this release as an alternative to established market leaders like ElevenLabs, aiming to provide equally lifelike and unique voices at a more accessible price point.

Voice Cloning Improvements and API Access

The update includes enhancements to Podcastle’s voice cloning tool, promising reduced cloning and processing times with greater fidelity to original voices.

Organizations can access these capabilities directly through the Podcastle API to deliver voice content where needed.

According to a 2024 Podcastle survey cited in the blog, two out of three respondents failed to correctly distinguish between human and AI voices, highlighting the technology’s advancement.

In February 2024, Podcastle raised $13.5 million in a Series A funding round to expand its suite of audio and video production tools.

The company indicates more product updates are planned for 2025, continuing its focus on shipping solutions for content creators.
