Gen Z Sensation Quenlin Blackwell Just Signed A Deal With CAA
Quenlin Blackwell, a prominent Gen Z social media influencer, has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
Blackwell, also known as Quen, boasts a substantial online presence with 16 million followers across various platforms, including 2.4 million on Instagram and 10.6 million on TikTok.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, CAA’s focus for Blackwell centers on enhancing strategic brand partnerships and developing new intellectual property and business ventures, particularly in her role as an online influencer.
Blackwell’s career began with comedy skits on Vine and has evolved to include a guest starring role in an upcoming HBO comedy pilot created by “Shiva Baby” star Rachel Sennott.
Blackwell’s diverse portfolio includes appearances in music videos for artists such as Charli XCX, JT, and SG Lewis.
On YouTube, where she has 1.84 million subscribers, Blackwell hosts “Feeding Starving Influencers,” a food comedy series featuring notable guests like Lil Nas X and Bretman Rock. The show’s first six episodes have averaged two million views each.
In addition to her comedy work, Blackwell is expanding into lifestyle formats and has collaborated with major brands, including Google, Gymshark, and Amazon. Her fashion and beauty partnerships extend to high-profile names such as Boss, Burberry, Coach, YSL Beauty, and Acne Studios.
Blackwell follows CAA’s two major signings in September.
First, the agency snagged TikTok star TooTurntTony. With over 20 million followers, TooTurntTony has gained popularity through comedic short-form videos featuring his family and pet ducks.
Dawson consistently ranks among TikTok’s top 20 most-viewed short-form creators. He has collaborated with brands such as Crocs, Fireball Whisky, and Celsius.
Then, CAA signed TikTok and YouTube star Larri Merritt, known as Larray. The Compton native has 28 million TikTok followers and 10 million YouTube subscribers. His content blends comedy and commentary, resonating with Gen Z and Gen Alpha demographics.
