Ravensburger announced two major championship events for the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game, set to take place at landmark Disney properties in late 2024 and early 2025.

The first championship will be held from December 6-8, 2024, at the Disney Newport Bay Club at Disneyland Paris Resort. The second championship follows from January 10-12, 2025, at the Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Resort California.

Players who have earned qualification through regional Challenge events throughout the year will receive championship tournament badges, which include access to all event activities. Ravensburger plans to release additional information about public attendance and participation opportunities through its website.

These championships coincide with the release of Azurite Sea, the game’s sixth set, launched November 15, 2024, at local game stores and select Disney park retail locations, followed by mass market retailers on November 25, 2024.

The new set introduced characters from Disney’s Big Hero 6 franchise and Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers to the game for the first time. Product offerings included two starter decks featuring Ruby/Amber or Sapphire/Emerald combinations ($16.99 USD/$21.99 CAD), booster packs ($5.99 USD/$7.99 CAD), and an Illumineer’s Trove ($49.99 USD/$64.99 CAD).

A special holiday Stitch Collector’s Gift Set ($49.99 USD/$64.99 CAD) was released simultaneously, featuring a Stitch-themed portfolio, four Azurite Sea booster packs, and the game’s first-ever water foil treatment on a unique “Stitch-Alien Buccaneer” promo card.
