Seattle’s $20,000 Social Media Showdown Has Digital Pros Racing Against The Clock
QSeattle Interactive Conference (SIC) and Thece have launched a social media challenge for digital interactive professionals, offering over $20,000 in prizes. The contest, from June 25 to July 12, 2024, invites advertising and marketing professionals to create a 15-to 60-second social video post showcasing their work and explaining their desire to attend SIC.
The challenge introduces a unique time-pressure element: participants have one hour to gather as many likes as possible on their posts. Twin Galaxies, known for verifying gaming achievements, will track submissions and determine winners based on engagement metrics.
“This challenge embodies the spirit of SIC – celebrating creativity, technology, and digital marketing,” says SIC co-founder Brian Rauschenbach.
The top 50 submissions with the most likes will receive rewards. The grand prize, valued at $2,550, includes a ticket to SIC 2024, LA GEAR sneakers, and premium subscriptions to AI-powered tools like GoCharlie, AugXLabs, and Reveal. Additional prizes include discounts on EZ Newswire’s press release distribution services.
Thece CEO Zachary Rozga states, “This challenge not only rewards creativity and social media savvy but also introduces participants to cutting-edge tools that can enhance their professional capabilities.”
According to the announcement, the contest aims to showcase the community of digital professionals and their innovative work. It reflects the diverse ecosystem of tools and services supporting today’s digital professionals, aligning with SIC’s focus on innovation in experience, design, and strategy at the intersection of technology, creativity, and digital marketing.
The Seattle Interactive Conference is scheduled for July 31-August 1, 2024.
