YouTube Stars Sidemen, Paramount Team Up For A Shell-Shocking Surprise For Ninja Turtle Fans
Paramount Consumer Products and Experiences UK partnered with YouTube group The Sidemen to launch a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) merchandise collection.
According to NickALive, the range, featuring 13 exclusive designs on clothing and boxing accessories, debuted at The Sidemen’s new retail store in Birmingham’s Bullring on October 4.
The Sidemen, a British YouTube collective with over 140 million subscribers worldwide, opened its first physical store in July 2023. This TMNT collection marks their second partnership with Paramount, following a SpongeBob SquarePants capsule collection in 2022.
“The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are some of our most iconic and well-loved characters, so it felt natural for us to collaborate with the UK’s biggest YouTube stars, The Sidemen, on this new range,” said Rebecca Jenkins, VP of Consumer Products for Paramount in several regions, in a statement.
The launch coincided with the release of “Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” the latest installment in the franchise airing on Nickelodeon and streaming on Paramount+. Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo costume characters appeared at the Bullring throughout the day to celebrate the collection’s release.
“The Sidemen teaming up with TMNT works so well,” stated Matt Peters, Sidemen Clothing Managing Director. “We’ve had a lot of fun on our journey through the world of TMNT; it’s been an amazing nostalgia trip for us all.”
The Sidemen x TMNT range is available at the Birmingham Bullring store and online from the Sidemen Clothing website.
The British YouTube group Sidemen recently launched a reality competition show called “Inside,” which pits ten social media influencers against each other in challenges inside a house. The winner receives a prize pot starting at £1 million. The show’s debut attracted over 4 million views within 24 hours.
