15 Diverse Creators Join Snapchat’s 523 Program

Snapchat announced the 2024 class of its 523 creator program, expanding its support for underrepresented content creators.

Now in its fourth year, the program selects 15 creators for a 12-month initiative to bolster their businesses and audiences through Snapchat’s Discover feed.

Initially launched in 2021, the 523 program supports small, minority-owned companies and creatives that traditionally need more access and resources than larger competitors and publishers.

The 2024 iteration broadens its scope to include all underrepresented communities, including the LGBTQ+ community.

Snapchat has partnered with Ensemble, a branded entertainment company co-founded by actress, writer, and producer Issa Rae, to empower this year’s class of storytellers.

The program offers participants funding, resources, one-on-one mentorship, partner education, exposure, marketing support, and community engagement opportunities.

Two major brands have joined the 523 program as partners this year:

  • Clinique – Collaborates with creators to reestablish its dermatological expertise and engage Gen Z and multicultural audiences through content focused on science-backed skincare solutions.
  • AT&T—As the inaugural sponsor, AT&T is raising awareness of its Rising Future Makers program, which connects HBCU students and recent graduates to career opportunities.
