SocialPubli Unveils New AI Tool That Takes Influencer Vetting To The Next Level
Global influencer marketing agency SocialPubli has launched Brand Detector, an AI-powered tool designed to streamline influencer evaluation for marketers.
The new offering aims to provide quick insights into brand affinity, usage, and engagement by analyzing influencer content and interaction trends.
Brand Detector operates by examining three key aspects of social content: text, images or videos, and paid advertising.
The tool uses natural language processing to detect brand mentions in text, employs machine learning and image recognition to identify products in visual content, and reviews META’s ad databases to highlight potential brand relationships.
“Ensuring a thorough vetting process for influencers is crucial for safeguarding your brand’s reputation and aligning your marketing efforts with your overall brand strategy,” Ismael El-Qudsi, CEO of SocialPubli, said in a news release.
El-Qudsi added that the tool addresses a significant industry challenge. Brands report that vetting influencers is one of the largest expenses when acquiring new creator partners.
AI Gains Traction in Influencer Marketing
The Brand Detector launch comes as influencer marketing scales up.
SocialPubli cites research showing that 43.4% of marketers collaborate with at least 50 influencers annually, and nearly half run campaigns monthly. This increased volume makes activating and managing influencers more complex.
The agency’s own study revealed that 76% of marketers and 52% of Influencers used AI in their work as of February 2024.
“Without AI, brands have to vet each potential influencer manually, using significant team resources and delaying campaign launches,” Juan Antonio Roncero, Director of Innovation at SocialPubli and creator of Brand Detector, said in the release.
Brand Detector is currently available for TikTok and Instagram.
