Nigerian Actress Temi Otedola Lands Major Brand Ambassador Deal With L’Oréal Paris Makeup
L’Oréal Paris has named Nigerian actress, entrepreneur, and influencer Temi Otedola its new African Digital Brand Ambassador for Makeup. Otedola becomes the first Nigerian ambassador for the global cosmetics brand, joining Kendall Jenner and Viola Davis.
The partnership signifies a leap forward for L’Oréal in spotlighting diverse African beauty and reaffirms the company’s diversity and empowerment initiatives across the continent. Last year, L’Oréal appointed South African actress Thusi Mbedu as a regional brand ambassador.
In her new role, Otedola will front marketing campaigns for L’Oréal’s Infallible Makeup line, highlighting her personal style and African beauty aesthetics. “I am truly honored by this partnership,” wrote Otedola, who grew up using L’Oréal products. “Their values around empowerment deeply resonate with me.”
Issima Oniangue, L’Oréal’s General Manager for Makeup in Sub-Saharan Africa, cited on LinkedIn Otedola’s confidence and passion embodying the brand’s ethos. “Temi Otedola’s journey with L’Oréal Paris Makeup promises to celebrate beauty, empowerment, and cultural richness, resonating with audiences across Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond,” said Oniangue.
