The Digital Dept. Debuts BRANDEdit Influencer Showroom At New York Fashion Week

The Digital Dept., a subsidiary of Dolphin, is introducing its BRANDEdit Influencer Showroom to New York Fashion Week (NYFW) for the first time.

The event, scheduled for September 10 and 11, 2024, marks the showroom’s expansion into New York City following strong demand.

The invite-only showroom features a curated selection of brands across the beauty, fashion, and wellness sectors. Participants include ClearSilk for beauty treatments, Crocs and Lulus for fashion and accessories, and MaryRuth Organics for wellness products.

“The goal of the BRANDEdit Showroom is simple: raise brand awareness, create content opportunities, and drive buzz during New York Fashion Week,” Sarah Boyd, co-CEO of The Digital Dept., said in a news release.

The showroom aims to equip influencers with essentials for NYFW, offering beauty and skincare products, seasonal fashion items, travel accessories, and food and beverage options. The exact location remains undisclosed to maintain exclusivity.

“Our unique strength lies in our ability to blend digital influence with immersive, real-world experiences, offering brands an integrated strategy that drives lasting engagement and loyalty,” stated The Digital Dept. Co-CEO Ali Grant.

Following its NYC debut, BRANDEdit plans to host showrooms in Los Angeles in November and Miami in December, preceding Art Basel.

In 2023, Dolphin Entertainment, the parent company of Be Social and Socialyte, announced it was merging the two entities into a new influencer marketing venture, The Digital Dept.

Dolphin CEO Bill O’Dowd said in an interview with Net Influencer earlier this year that “through the merger, the entity has secured a true bi-coastal presence while offering the full suite of services.”

Today, The Digital Dept. manages over 200 creators with a combined social media following of 200 million across various verticals. The firm specializes in brand strategy, creator representation, and crafting partnerships through online and offline channels.
