Tom Daley

This LGBTQ influencer made his first Olympic debut at just 14, securing his first gold medal at the most recent Tokyo 2021 games. Tom Daley came out as gay in December 2013 after posting a detailed YouTube video discussing his journey to discovering his sexuality. Since then, Daley has grown from success to success, earning a selection of medals and becoming an Ambassador Athlete for Adidas.

Miles McKenna is a 26 year old trans man with an incredible 934,000 followers on Instagram. McKenna uses his social media presence to promote more acceptance of trans issues and encourages his devoted followers to feel more comfortable with their gender identities. His YouTube channel amasses a wide range of themes from masculine fashion tips to coping with transphobia in our modern world.

This influencer has also delved into YouTube Shorts, offering advice for those who have just come out. In 2018, he joined the cast of Guilty Party, an interactive YouTube series where he played the role of Alex. Furthermore, Miles McKenna also sells a range of obscure and unique merchandise that effortlessly appeals to his Gen Z fan base. 

Dodie Clark

Dodie Clark is a British singer-songwriter, who came out as bisexual in 2017. Her music discusses her experiences with her sexuality, detailing her romantic endeavors with both men and women.  Amassing 1.1 million followers on Instagram, this influencer shows her adoring fans her experiences whilst on tour as well as photos with her other influencer friends.

Clark first posted a video of her singing on YouTube back in 2011. She also uses her channel to collaborate with other creators and lets her charismatic personality shine through. Clark recently joined TikTok where she has gained an additional 533,000 followers. Here, she posts more singing videos as well as partakes in various popular trends. 

Jazzmyne Jay

With her striking shaved head and unique sense of style, Jazzmyne Jay is an acclaimed plus-sized model and LGBTQ advocate. Jay is a video producer at Buzzfeed, helping her understand influencer marketing from an entirely new perspective. She creates and stars in content for the As/Is YouTube channel, which focuses on body positivity and 21st century feminism.

This channel has grown in popularity since it first started in 2013, earning 10.5 million subscribers. Jay met her partner Kate Kuczynski on the Queer dating app Lex and the pair share their love for fashion as well as their love for each other. 

Jameela Jamil

Jameela Jamil was originally born in London but after much success in the TV and film industry, she finally made the jump to the states. She is probably best known for her role as Tahani Al-Jamil in the hit series The Good Place. Rickey Thompson 

After first finding success on Vine, Rickey Thompson has continued to charm his followers with his intoxicating sense of humor and feisty demeanor. Thompson has an outstanding 5.3 million followers on Instagram, giving him the opportunity to share his exciting career developments with his fans.
