Twitch Unveils Creator Clubs: New Feature To Bring Streamers Together
Twitch announced the launch of Creator Clubs at TwitchCon Rotterdam, Tubefilter confirmed. This new feature aims to provide streamers a space to connect over shared interests.
Dan Clancy, the CEO of Twitch, explained that Creator Clubs are open to both affiliate and partner streamers. Members gain access to a dedicated Discord server offering resources, support channels, and toolboxes focused on monetization, engagement, and content development strategies.
The initial rollout includes two clubs: DJs and IRL (In Real Life). Twitch plans to open membership applications for these clubs at the end of July, with additional clubs slated for introduction by year-end.
Alongside Creator Clubs, Twitch introduced the Streamer Achievement Awards program. This initiative recognizes Partner streamers who reach significant viewership milestones: 5 million, 50 million, and 250 million hours watched. Recipients receive “Bleed Purple Statues” shaped like dripping hearts, with colors corresponding to each milestone level.
French streamer LittleBigWhale, known for gaming content and boasting 600,000 followers, became the first Streamer Achievement Award recipient at the Rotterdam event.
Clancy indicates that eligible creators who have previously surpassed these milestones will receive invitations to claim their statues later this summer. TwitchCon Rotterdam also showcased updates to the platform’s mobile app, extended duration for Stories features, and improvements to Clip creation tools.
