VidCon Cancels Baltimore, Doubles Down On Anaheim

VidCon, the world’s leading event for digital creators and fans, has canceled its Baltimore 2024 event to focus resources on its flagship Anaheim conference. Attendees who have already purchased tickets for VidCon Baltimore 2024 will receive full refunds by July 19, 2024. Processing is expected to take 3-5 business days.

Founded by YouTube creators John and Hank Green and acquired by Paramount Global in 2018, VidCon serves as a hub for the digital content community. The event brings together creators, fans, and brands to celebrate and shape digital culture.

VidCon’s scope extends beyond in-person gatherings, encompassing virtual connections and fostering industry exchanges. The convention facilitates networking, creators’ audience growth, and brand engagement.

In 2023, VidCon’s 12th annual show in Anaheim drew 55,000 attendees. The addition of the Baltimore event marked VidCon’s expansion to the East Coast, broadening its reach. VidCon expresses gratitude to the city of Baltimore and the fans and creators who participated in the inaugural East Coast event last year.
