Web3 Meets Memes: How The STIX-CREATOR Partnership Plans To Onboard 30M Users To Crypto

Web3 platform STIX announced a partnership with CREATOR to bring meme-based crypto engagement to a potential audience of 30 million monthly active users. The collaboration unveiled at EthCC aims to connect traditional user-generated content (UGC) to the crypto world.

Born from the popular sticker-creation app Stickerly, STIX brings a novel approach to crypto adoption. Unlike traditional NFT marketplaces, the platform implements a voting competition system where users stake tokens on memes they believe will win weekly contests. This gamification of meme creation incentivizes participation and introduces crypto concepts to a broader audience.

STIX’s value proposition lies in its direct connection to Stickerly’s established user base, which spans key markets, including Latin America, Southeast Asia, India, and Europe. Winning memes from STIX competitions gain exposure on Stickerly, potentially introducing millions of users to Web3 concepts daily.

The STIX-CREATOR partnership offers opportunities for early adopters through a points system, which grants benefits such as beta access and potential token airdrops.

Industry experts see potential in STIX’s approach. Carson Kanipe of Wayfinder noted the platform’s capacity to “empower Web3 communities through the aggregation and distribution of their community culture.” Meanwhile, Phil Hedayatnia of Airfoil highlighted its potential to “disrupt the meme coin wave and unlock a massive non-crypto user base.”
